Duration: 9 12 Months Contract

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Governance Documentation Specialist to support enterprise data governance initiatives. This role will focus on creating, reviewing, and maintaining high-quality documentation, ensuring alignment with data governance standards, policies, and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create, edit, and maintain data governance documentation including policies, standards, procedures, and guidelines
• Review existing documentation and enhance clarity, accuracy, and consistency
• Collaborate with data governance teams, data stewards, and business stakeholders
• Ensure documentation aligns with regulatory and compliance requirements
• Maintain version control and document repositories
• Support audit and compliance efforts by providing required documentation
• Follow through on documentation lifecycle from drafting to approval and publishing
  
  

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 5 years of experience in documentation, technical writing, or data governance
• Strong understanding of Data Governance frameworks (e.g., DAMA-DMBOK)
• Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills
• Experience reviewing and improving existing documentation
• Familiarity with data management concepts (metadata, data lineage, data quality)
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in Banking or Financial Services domain
• Knowledge of regulatory frameworks (e.g., BCBS 239, GDPR)
• Experience with tools like Collibra, Alation, or similar data governance platforms
