- Degree or diploma in Business, Information Technology, or related field; OR Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) certification.
- Minimum 3 years of direct experience with data manipulation, transformation, cleansing, and data wrangling.
- Minimum 3 years of direct hands-on experience designing, developing, and optimizing advanced Power BI solutions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work with complex and regulated datasets.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
- Experience validating data models and canonical definitions using real-world datasets.
- Experience analyzing measurement comparability, unit normalization, and temporal consistency.
- Experience identifying data standardization risks and opportunities.
- Experience developing analytical prototypes and exploratory data views.
- Experience supporting large-scale monitoring and reporting datasets.
- Experience evaluating aggregation behavior, trend analysis, and query scalability.
- Validate proposed canonical data elements against actual datasets.
- Validate Unified Business Object model assumptions using historical monitoring data, reporting templates, and program-specific datasets.
- Identify and surface edge cases during design and development phases.
- Perform semantic analysis on core data layers.
- Analyze measurement comparability, unit normalization, and temporal consistency issues.
- Identify where standardization is appropriate and where it may negatively impact data meaning.
- Produce evidence-based recommendations to support data architecture decisions.
- Build exploratory analytical views within the Data Management Platform.
- Test aggregation behavior, trend stability, and query feasibility at scale.
- Evaluate whether data models support cross-program trend analysis and large-scale operational requirements.
- Collaborate with business and technical teams throughout project execution.
- Experience leading initiatives and facilitating workshops.
- Experience communicating with senior management and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Experience presenting data and AI solutions, standards, and risk assessments.
- Experience working directly with senior leadership, architecture review boards, and service owners.
