Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field with 12-14 years of overall experience.
- 6 years of experience in Cloud Engineering, DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or Infrastructure Engineering roles.
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS cloud services including EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, CloudWatch, Lambda, Load Balancers, Route 53, and related services.
- Experience designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or similar platforms.
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and/or AWS CloudFormation.
- Strong scripting experience using Python, Bash, or similar automation languages.
- Experience with Git-based source code management and version control practices.
- Strong understanding of networking concepts including DNS, TCP/IP, routing, VPNs, firewalls, and load balancing.
- Knowledge of cloud security principles, IAM policies, encryption, compliance, and security best practices.
- Experience with monitoring, logging, alerting, and operational support of cloud environments.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration platforms including Kubernetes, ECS, or EKS.
- Exposure to DevSecOps practices and automated security controls is preferred.
- Understanding of AI/ML concepts and experience utilizing AI-driven operational or monitoring tools is a plus.
- AWS certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, or equivalent are preferred.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available AWS cloud infrastructure environments.
- Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform and/or CloudFormation for automated provisioning and configuration management.
- Build, optimize, and support CI/CD pipelines to enable automated application deployment and infrastructure delivery.
- Automate operational tasks, deployments, monitoring, and maintenance activities using Python, Bash, and other scripting technologies.
- Manage and maintain AWS services including EC2, IAM, VPC, S3, CloudWatch, Route 53, Lambda, and related cloud resources.
- Collaborate with development, infrastructure, security, and operations teams to deploy and support cloud-native applications.
- Implement cloud security controls, identity management, access governance, and compliance best practices across AWS environments.
- Monitor system performance, availability, capacity, and security using cloud-native and third-party monitoring tools.
- Troubleshoot and resolve cloud infrastructure, deployment, networking, and application-related issues.
- Support containerized workloads using Docker, Kubernetes, ECS, and EKS platforms where applicable.
- Implement DevSecOps practices by integrating security scanning, compliance validation, and automated controls into CI/CD pipelines.
- Utilize AI-driven operational tools and automation platforms to improve infrastructure monitoring, incident management, and operational efficiency.
- Perform root cause analysis for production incidents, outages, and performance issues and implement preventive measures.
- Optimize cloud resources for performance, scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams, deployment procedures, and operational runbooks.
- Participate in cloud architecture reviews, infrastructure modernization initiatives, and continuous improvement programs.
- Provide technical guidance and support to project teams regarding AWS best practices, automation strategies, and cloud adoption initiatives.
- Ensure all cloud infrastructure solutions align with organizational security standards, compliance requirements, and operational objectives.
