Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Ab Initio Developer to join our data engineering team. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in Ab Initio graph development, ETL processing, and enterprise data integration. Experience with Express>IT, Python scripting, and AWS cloud technologies is highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL solutions using Ab Initio.
- Build and optimize complex Ab Initio graphs for high-volume data processing.
- Work with business and technical teams to understand data integration requirements.
- Develop and support data ingestion, transformation, and validation workflows.
- Utilize Ab Initio components including GDE, Co>Operating System, Conduct>It, and Express>IT.
- Implement automation and scripting solutions using Python.
- Work with AWS services for cloud-based data integration and processing.
- Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and optimize performance.
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and compliance with enterprise standards.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, deployment, and release activities.
- Strong hands-on experience with Ab Initio Graph Development.
- Expertise in ETL/Data Integration development.
- Experience with Ab Initio GDE and Co>Operating System.
- Strong SQL and database knowledge.
- Experience with Unix/Linux shell scripting.
- Knowledge of data warehousing concepts.
- Experience with Express>IT.
- Python scripting experience.
- Exposure to AWS cloud services.
- Experience with scheduling and orchestration tools.
- Banking or financial domain experience is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 5 years of experience in Ab Initio development.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
