Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior Advanced Product Manufacturing Engineer to lead and optimize manufacturing processes for advanced aerospace products. This role focuses on improving production efficiency, ensuring product quality, and driving continuous improvement across manufacturing operations.
You will collaborate closely with design engineering, supply chain, and production teams to ensure seamless transition from product design to full-scale manufacturing while maintaining cost, quality, and delivery targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee manufacturing processes for advanced products, ensuring compliance with quality, cost, and delivery requirements
- Collaborate with design engineering teams to improve product manufacturability and support smooth production transition
- Develop and implement manufacturing processes, including workflows, work instructions, and quality control systems
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve manufacturing process issues in collaboration with cross-functional teams
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce cost, and improve product quality
- Provide technical guidance and support to production teams, including training and process adherence
- Work with supply chain teams to optimize material flow and inventory management
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Technology, Mathematics, or a related technical discipline
- 5 years of experience in manufacturing engineering
- Proven experience in manufacturing process optimization
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Experience working in cross-functional manufacturing environments
