About the Role
We are hiring an Electrical Supervisor on behalf of one of our clients. This role is responsible for planning, scheduling, and overseeing all electrical maintenance activities to maximize equipment utilization, reliability, and safety within a plant environment.
You will lead electrical operations, manage control systems, and drive continuous improvement initiatives while ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure all electrical work is performed safely and in compliance with applicable regulations
- Lead Electrical Safe Work Practices (ESWP) and Energy Isolation (EI) programs
- Oversee maintenance of process and quality instrumentation to support compliance and operational accuracy
- Monitor plant electrical systems daily to ensure reliability through inspections and system tracking
- Plan, prioritize, schedule, and assign electrical and control system work
- Coordinate maintenance activities with cross-functional teams
- Develop and maintain predictive and preventive maintenance programs
- Evaluate effectiveness of completed work and implement corrective actions
- Maintain electrical documentation including equipment records, compliance files, and repair history
- Support development and management of departmental budgets
- Partner with plant leadership team to prioritize improvement initiatives and budgeting
- Evaluate and optimize control systems and electrical components
- Develop and implement process control programs
- Provide training and technical guidance to plant personnel
- Troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, and control system issues
- Manage improvement documentation and support CAPEX initiatives
- Promote and enforce health, safety, and environmental standards
Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree OR equivalent experience (8 years)
Preferred Field of Study:
- Engineering
Experience
- Minimum 5 years of electrical supervision and project experience
- Strong experience with PLC programming and HMI systems
Technical Skills
- SAP
- Microsoft Office
Additional Requirements
- Strong leadership, planning, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced industrial environment
- Willingness to travel (0–10%)
- Commitment to safety and compliance with PPE requirements, including respirator use where applicable
