About the Role
We are seeking an Electrical Engineer (New Graduate) on behalf of one of our clients to support electrical maintenance and control system operations within a cement plant. This role focuses on ensuring safe, efficient, and reliable execution of electrical projects and maintenance activities.
This position also includes participation in a structured 14-month graduate development program designed to provide hands-on experience and foundational knowledge across key areas of cement manufacturing through a blended learning approach.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise electrical and instrumentation technicians to ensure timely and accurate execution of work orders and projects
- Support preventive and predictive maintenance programs through inspections, data collection, and analysis
- Assess equipment condition, identify risks, and recommend corrective actions
- Maintain accurate documentation of electrical schematics and spare parts inventory
- Ensure system programming complies with environmental and regulatory standards
- Manage system documentation including equipment files, specifications, compliance records, and repair history
- Evaluate and optimize control systems and related components
- Develop, modify, and implement process control programs
- Provide training and guidance to plant personnel on control systems
- Troubleshoot control system hardware and software issues
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance reliability, safety, and cost efficiency
- Contribute to PLC and electrical projects across the plant
- Promote and adhere to health, safety, and environmental policies
Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
- OR
- 3 years of equivalent experience
Experience
- 0–3 years of relevant experience (entry-level / new graduate role)
Technical Skills
- Basic knowledge of electrical systems and industrial controls
- Familiarity with PLCs and process control systems is a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
