Role Overview
We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking a skilled Network Security Engineer to manage and secure enterprise network infrastructure across global data centers and cloud environments.
In this role, you will oversee perimeter security technologies such as firewalls and proxy services, proactively identify risks, and implement solutions to ensure secure and seamless operations. You will also collaborate with internal stakeholders to support secure IT service delivery across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain network security hardware and software
- Manage firewall, proxy, and perimeter security technologies
- Monitor infrastructure performance and ensure system availability
- Identify risks and implement security improvements
- Support IT infrastructure projects and operational processes
- Document configurations, procedures, and system changes
- Collaborate with internal teams and respond to service requests
- Participate in on-call rotations and provide incident support
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Information Technology
- At least 3 years of experience with firewall, proxy, and network operations
- 1 year of experience in datacenter firewall design and deployment
- 1 year of experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or private cloud such as NSX)
- Experience with Zero Trust security models and tools (e.g., Zscaler)
