Job Summary:
PowerPlan, Inc. is seeking a Technical Business Analyst to work with a team to configure and customize their software for utility customers. The role involves understanding design documents, writing SQL scripts, and assisting in project configurations while ensuring client satisfaction through testing and troubleshooting.
Responsibilities:
• Learn PowerPlan’s core product line by completing a comprehensive four-week training
• Learn the basics public utility accounting as it relates to one’s practice area
• Develop a complete understanding of each client project
• Assist in creating and configuring the build
• Troubleshoot problems on assigned tasks and conduct unit testing
• Track progress and provide regular and timely reports to the project manager
• Observe design meetings
• Learn where and how to get answers
Qualifications:
Required:
• Must fully understand the design documents for each component of the software that they are responsible for configuring.
• Ability to write SQL scripts.
• Assist in the configuration of interfaces.
• Convert and translate data.
• Test the solution to ensure it meets the client’s desired outcomes.
• Learn PowerPlan’s core product line by completing a comprehensive four-week training.
• Learn the basics of public utility accounting as it relates to one’s practice area.
• Develop a complete understanding of each client project.
• Assist in creating and configuring the build.
• Troubleshoot problems on assigned tasks and conduct unit testing.
