In this role, you will lead the development and upgrades of aerospace systems while managing a diverse team of engineers and driving digital engineering solutions that support client missions.
Responsibilities:
• Lead the development and upgrades of aerospace systems across multiple defense, civilian, and space domains by leading digital engineering and model-based systems engineering (MBSE) activities.
• Design and develop systems, and evolve them with advanced technology solutions.
• Help lead a diverse team of technically competent engineers, each rising in their careers.
• Broaden your skillset into areas like model-based design, model-based systems engineering, digital engineering, and technical analyses.
• Merge technical engineering expertise and model-based engineering to create digital engineering solutions that drive client missions.
Qualifications:
Required:
• 5 years of experience with systems engineering activities
• 2 years of experience using MBSE tools
• 1 years of experience leading engineering teams
• Knowledge of core systems and digital engineering concepts regarding the use of engineering models across the life cycle, authoritative lifecycle data, tool chains, digital threads, and digital twins
• Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, or Technology
Preferred:
• Experience with supporting engineering tools, including Dassault 3DS, SBE Vision, IBM DOORS, Jama Connect, ModelCenter, TeamCenter, MATLAB, or STK and CAD tools, including CATIA and SolidWorks
• Experience in a Department of Defense aerospace program acquisition office
• Experience with conceptualizing military problems, decomposing high-level missions systems modeling, and developing detailed designs in a systems model in support of product development
• Experience with developing and executing model-based testing using the systems model with linked engineering tools
• Knowledge of linking analytical and engineering tools in a digital thread
• Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Master’s degree in Engineering
• SysML OMG Certified Systems Modelling Professional (OCSMP) Certification
• INCOSE Systems Engineering Professional Certification, including CSEP or ASEP Certification
