Job Summary:
Pure Storage is fundamentally reshaping the data storage industry and is seeking a Product Configuration Analyst to drive seamless product lifecycle and configuration management across hardware, software, and manufacturing domains. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain accurate Bills of Materials, oversee changes, and implement best practices in Product Lifecycle Management, ensuring data integrity and operational excellence.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee PLM activities, including BOM creation, maintenance, and updates for new and existing products.
• Coordinate the end-to-end change management process, ensuring alignment among Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Quality.
• Define and maintain best practices for data integrity, regulatory compliance, and configuration management across multiple platforms.
• Drive cross-functional collaboration to ensure accurate and timely release of product documentation, specifications, and engineering change orders.
• Manage and refine PLM workflows and user permissions, providing training and support to internal stakeholders.
• Conduct data audits, analyze metrics, and develop process improvements to enhance efficiency and maintain high-quality standards.
• Facilitate effective communication with vendors and international teams, ensuring global alignment on product lifecycle management practices.
• Create, maintain, and update standard operating procedures, training materials, and user guides related to PLM and configuration management.
Qualifications:
Required:
• 8 years of experience with Bachelor of Arts or Science degree (or equivalent experience)
• 8 years of experience in configuration management within a technical (hardware, software, or manufacturing) environment.
• Strong familiarity with PLM systems (e.g., Agile, Arena, Teamcenter, or Oracle Cloud) and CAD/PDM tools (e.g., SolidWorks PDM).
• Demonstrated understanding of BOM structures, engineering change processes, and cross-functional data integration.
• Proven ability to manage complex projects, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the capacity to influence and collaborate across diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Analytical mindset, adept at auditing, interpreting metrics, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Preferred:
• Preferred experience with ERP/MRP systems, JIRA/Confluence, and compliance frameworks (e.g., ISO, GMP, RoHS, REACH).
• Broad understanding of Pure’s products and services technologies is highly desired.
