Responsibilities:
• Lead a small team dedicated to video-model inference quality and evaluation.
• Integrate and harden new video-generation models from the core Modeling team into production services.
• Build automated pipelines to track video-quality metrics, latency, drift, and cost.
• Partner with Evaluation-Platform and Integration-Services teams to move models through release gates.
• Define and enforce SLAs for inference quality, latency, and cost.
• Maintain clean APIs, tests, and CI/CD for all inference code (Python / PyTorch).
• Report clear metrics and blockers to researchers, product managers, and leadership.
Qualifications:
Required:
• B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 6 years software engineering, including 2 years leading ML-inference or backend projects.
• Strong systems-architecture skills; expert Python and solid PyTorch.
• Hands-on experience running distributed services at scale (CI/CD, containers, orchestration).
• Proven record designing stable APIs and SDKs.
• Familiarity with automated testing, continuous integration, and on-call support.
• Clear written and verbal communication; able to align research and engineering teams.
Preferred:
• Experience with diffusion or other generative models.
• Ray or similar distributed-compute frameworks.
• Kubernetes, ECS, or comparable orchestration tools.
• Background in model quantization or GPU scheduling.
• Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar CI pipelines.
