Responsibilities:
• Supervise and direct technical staff to successfully execute geotechnical assignments.
• Provide leadership across project execution, client development, and daily operations.
• Prepare project proposals and technical reports or assign tasks to appropriate team members.
• Strategically assign personnel to projects to achieve financial performance targets.
• Promote integrated service offerings, contribute to business growth efforts, and cultivate strong local client connections.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Geotechnical, Mining Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in Geotechnical Engineering or a related field
• Professional Engineer license in North Carolina or can obtain one by reciprocity
• Experience in recruiting, developing, and managing staff, or the desire to learn
• Experience and a desire for business development activities
