Job Summary:
Rubrik is on a mission to secure the world’s data and is seeking a Senior Director of Product Marketing to lead a high-performing team across its product portfolios. Responsibilities:
• Lead and mentor Directors of Product Marketing across Rubrik's platform of offerings, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and collaboration.
• Build, coach, and retain a high-caliber product marketing team, ensuring talent growth, succession planning, and professional development.
• Champion cross-functional alignment between Product Management, Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing to deliver cohesive go-to-market strategies that accelerate adoption and growth.
• Serve as a thought leader and internal subject matter expert, translating deep technical knowledge of the cyber recovery and cyber resilience markets into compelling positioning and messaging.
• Maintain a sharp understanding of market trends, competitive landscapes, and customer needs to guide the team in crafting high-impact strategies across different audience segments.
• Ensure that Rubrik captures and communicates its differentiated value proposition in a way that resonates with technical buyers, C-level executives, and internal stakeholders alike.
• Own and evolve Rubrik’s product launch process, driving alignment, accountability, and flawless execution to accelerate time-to-market and ensure a seamless customer experience.
• Establish and refine best practices to improve efficiencies while enabling the effective tracking of product launch success metrics.
• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure that launch initiatives align with broader business priorities and deliver measurable impact.
• Conceptualize and oversee go-to-market plans to guide successful launches and ongoing campaigns that position Rubrik's solutions as market leaders.
• Collaborate with demand generation, field marketing, and sales enablement teams to build programmatic campaigns that drive pipeline growth and conversion.
• Partner with sales leadership to deeply understand customer challenges, enabling the creation of collateral, sales tools, and playbooks that empower go-to-market success.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Proven ability to lead, coach, and inspire high-performing individuals and teams; develops leadership talent and fosters career growth.
• Experience managing globally distributed product marketing teams while navigating the dynamics of a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
• Strong understanding of enterprise IT ecosystems, data protection, cloud platforms, SaaS, and/or cybersecurity markets.
• Ability to translate technical concepts into clear, compelling value propositions for customers, partners, and internal teams.
• 12 years of product marketing experience, with a proven track record of driving go-to-market success and launching innovative enterprise solutions at scale.
• Expert in planning and executing highly effective product launches, with a deep understanding of marketing funnels, buyer journeys, and pipeline metrics.
• Strong analytical mindset and proven ability to leverage data to measure outcomes, identify opportunities, and make informed decisions.
• Exceptional ability to partner and influence cross-functional teams, including Product, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, capable of quickly earning trust and credibility with technical and executive audiences alike.
