Job Summary:
Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings Ltd. is seeking a Revenue Management Analytics Director to lead the development and scaling of revenue management systems and analytics for Oceania Cruises and Regent Seven Seas Cruises. This role focuses on bridging commercial strategy with data analytics and system development to enhance pricing, forecasting, and inventory optimization.
Responsibilities:
• Act as a strategic partner to the VP and senior leadership, driving the development and execution of key technical projects and long-term operational strategies aligned with enterprise goals.
• Lead the integration and enhancement of revenue management systems to support pricing optimization, forecasting, and inventory strategies for Oceania Cruises and Regent Seven Seas Cruises.
• Partner closely with internal IT teams to lead the implementation of revenue management system enhancements-defining, testing, and validating system functionalities. Ensure clear communication of business requirements, alignment with commercial objectives, and delivery of accurate, user-friendly solutions.
• Develop and refine dashboards, forecasting models, and performance metrics that leverage system outputs to inform commercial decision-making. Ensure usability, accuracy, and functionality across all system interfaces and outputs.
• Serve as the primary analytics and systems liaison to Revenue Management, Sales, and Marketing teams, providing actionable insights and support for strategic initiatives.
• Drive continuous improvement in the integration between revenue management systems and business intelligence platforms to enable real-time performance tracking and data accessibility.
• Support the design and governance of analytics frameworks and reporting standards aligned with evolving business priorities and revenue goals.
• Proactively identify business challenges and opportunities through data analysis, working with business leaders to find strategic solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners on the rollout of new system capabilities, ensuring successful adoption, change management, and training across stakeholder groups.
• Contribute to the long-term roadmap for revenue management system integration, including the implementation of advanced tools, automation features, and self-service analytics capabilities.
• Perform other job-related functions as assigned.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor's Degree
• Analytics, Business Intelligence, Management Information Systems, or related field of study
• Minimum 7 years of progressive experience in Revenue Management, Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, or related fields
• Proficiency in SQL and ability to write and modify code for data extraction, transformation, and automation
• Motivated and demonstrative leadership skills
• Proven track record of developing and implementing successful strategies that drive revenue growth and maximize profitability
• Demonstrated leadership abilities, including the ability to mentor and develop team members, foster a collaborative work environment, and drive results
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate complex concepts and analysis across all levels of the organization
• Advanced Excel techniques required (pivot tables, lookup formulas, logical functions, database functions)
• Strong analytical and financial modeling skills
• Ability to interpret numerical data to analyze situations, identify root causes, and make informed recommendations
Preferred:
• Travel industry experience
• Knowledge of industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscape in the cruise or broader travel industry
