Job Summary:
The Agora Companies is a global organization focused on empowering individuals through information and products related to finance, health, and lifestyle. They are seeking a talented Web Application Developer to collaborate with designers, product owners, and developers in creating high-quality web applications and services.
Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and maintain internal and external websites, APIs, services, and systems.
• Build solutions using modern technologies such as React, Next.js, Node.js, JavaScript, PHP, REST, GraphQL, and headless CMS platforms.
• Apply best practices to optimize, scale, and secure applications and websites deployed on AWS.
• Advocate for product quality by identifying improvements and opportunities to streamline development processes.
• Collaborate on code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and mentor team members across varying experience levels.
• Partner with stakeholders—including designers, product managers, and analysts—to translate business needs into effective technical solutions.
• Scope, architect, and estimate project requirements while balancing speed of delivery with high-quality standards.
Qualifications:
Required:
• 3 years of full-stack web development experience supporting high-availability, large-scale web applications and systems.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical team members.
• Self-motivated, eager to learn, and comfortable working independently as well as collaboratively.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize effectively, and deliver results.
• JavaScript, Node.js, TypeScript
• React (Next.js experience is a plus)
