Job Summary:
Bottomline is a global leader in business payments and cash management, seeking a Product Marketing Strategist to join their marketing team. This role involves developing and executing strategic marketing initiatives, crafting product narratives, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive revenue success for their global payment solutions.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and convey comprehensive, in-depth product messaging and positioning that effectively communicates the value proposition of Bottomline products to target audiences.
• Develop and direct the creation of compelling marketing collateral, including sales materials, presentations, videos, thought leadership pieces, articles, and social media/advertising content that effectively articulate the value and benefits of Bottomline products in the market.
• Conduct market research to identify customer needs, pain points, and buying behaviors in different regions and markets. Utilize customer insights to inform product messaging evolution, and marketing initiatives across our global footprint.
• Assist with competitive research and analysis to identify market trends, opportunities, and threats in the global payments landscape. Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging marketing to drive product differentiation.
• Ensure adherence to consistent branding and messaging across all product marketing materials produced.
• Collaborate closely with key stakeholders including those in Product, Sales, and Marketing to ensure alignment on product marketing material that generates market awareness and drives customer/prospect action.
• Utilize analytics tools to track and analyze campaign performance, providing insights for optimization.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Demonstrable history of developing marketing content.
• Strong familiarity with digital marketing, social marketing, email, paid media, etc.
• Copywriting skills with the ability to craft clear, persuasive, and engaging copy for various marketing material formats.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts and ideas in a clear and concise manner.
• Working knowledge of PowerPoint and other Microsoft Office tools.
• Experience with demand generation and working across businesses, sales, product, and marketing organizations.
• Strong strategic mindset with the ability to think analytically and make data-driven decisions.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and effectively manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously in a global context.
• Ability to adapt to different markets, audiences, and personas to meet the needs of various projects.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in marketing, design, or relevant field.
• Demonstrated success in developing and implementing marketing strategies, programs and/or tactics that drive measurable results.
• Experience in concepting and copywriting for marketing collateral and digital assets.
• Solid knowledge of the payments industry, including key players, market dynamics, and regulatory environments.
