Job Summary:
Lockheed Martin is seeking a Manufacturing Robotics Automation Engineer, Staff for their Advanced Manufacturing Technologies team, which focuses on manufacturing automation and robotics for Missiles and Fire Control. The role involves providing manufacturing design guidelines, integrating automated solutions, and managing projects for deploying automation tools across multiple sites.
Responsibilities:
• Supporting and participating in the design, fabrication, assembly, validation, and deployment of manufacturing tools and electromechanical systems that includes automated components such as robots, conveyors, vision systems and programmable controllers.
• Hands-on integration of robotics, end of arm tools (EOATs), and existing systems and machines.
• Working with engineering and manufacturing roles to understand requirements and manufacturing processes for which automation tools can be developed and deployed.
• Capital planning and execution, vendor/integrator engagement, and project management activities to deploy automated solutions at multiple sites across MFC.
Qualifications:
Required:
• 9 years of professional experience
• U.S. citizenship
• Ability to obtain a secret clearance
