Competitive compensation We have openings on 1st shift Great benefits 401k Match Plenty of overtime available Well-ventilated facilityJob DetailsDuties: Responsible for overseeing a team of around 10 other tool Makers Machines parts to specifications, using machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, shapers, andgrinders. Set-ups, adjusts and operates basic machine tools as well as specialized, advanced tools to performprecision machining operations. Using precision instruments (e.g., micrometers), measures, examines, and tests completed units tocheck for defects and ensure conformance to specifications Sets controls to regulate machining; enters commands to retrieve, input, or edit computerized machinecontrol media. Uses knowledge of mechanics, shop mathematics, metal properties, layout, and machiningprocedures. Calculates dimensions and tolerances using mathematics and instruments such as micrometers andvernier calipers. Aligns and secures holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, or materials ontomachines.
