This role is critical in ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining compliance, and driving process improvements across our accounting functions. Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Manage cost accounting processes, including standard costing, variance analysis, and inventory valuation.
- Oversee general ledger activities and ensure accurate journal entries.
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes, particularly for manufacturing operations.
- Collaborate with operations and supply chain teams to align financial reporting with production metrics.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal financial policies.
- Coordinate and support internal and external audits.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Mentor junior accounting staff and provide guidance on complex accounting issues.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred).
- 5 years of accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of cost accounting, inventory management, and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
