Our company is seeking a skilled and experienced Property Accountant to join our dynamic team in the Commercial Real Estate industry. This is a permanent position that offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on commercial real estate. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the financial aspects of our property portfolio, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day accounting operations of our commercial real estate portfolio
- Prepare monthly financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
- Ensure compliance with all accounting standards and regulations
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including property managers, lenders, and investors
- Assist with the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts
- Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure adequate liquidity
- Review and approve accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 1 years of experience in Property Accounting, preferably in commercial real estate
- Proficiency in Yardi software or equivalent property management software
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
