- Serve as the first point of contact, welcoming patients in person and over the phone with professionalism and warmth
- Schedule appointments and ensure all patient demographic, insurance, and billing information is accurate and up to date
- Verify insurance eligibility and clearly communicate co-pays, balances, and payment expectations
- Collect payments and assist patients with billing-related questions
- Support smooth patient flow by coordinating with clinical and administrative teams
- Handle incoming calls, direct inquiries, and provide helpful, timely information
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with HIPAA and organizational standards
- Follow up with patients as needed (no-shows, missing information, appointment reminders)
- Assist with administrative tasks that support overall clinic operations
