Job Details
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of Maintenance Technicians.
- Schedule and prioritize maintenance work based on production needs.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, PLC, instrumentation, and equipment failures.
- Reduce recurring breakdowns through root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Manage preventive and predictive maintenance activities through the CMMS.
- Support TPM, reliability-centered maintenance, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Monitor KPIs, including downtime, OEE, work-order completion, and equipment reliability.
- Enforce OSHA, EPA, food safety, and company safety requirements.
- Assist with maintenance labor, repair, and capital planning.
- Partner with Production and Operations to minimize disruptions.
- Develop technical training plans and improve team capabilities.
Qualifications
- 5 years of maintenance experience within a manufacturing environment.
- Previous experience leading or supervising maintenance technicians.
- Strong mechanical, electrical, PLC, and industrial troubleshooting skills.
- Experience with CMMS, preventive/predictive maintenance, root cause analysis, and TPM.
- Knowledge of OSHA requirements and manufacturing safety practices.
- Food, beverage, consumer products, or other high-volume manufacturing experience preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field preferred; equivalent technical experience considered.
- Willingness to work second shift, extended hours, and occasional weekends.
- Comfortable working in hot, cold, wet, and production-floor environments.
