We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Controller for our growing manufacturing company. This role will be instrumental in overseeing the financial health of our organization by managing our financial procedures. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial reporting and analysis, with a proven track record in the manufacturing or related industry.
Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Controller, you will be responsible for:
1. Overseeing all financial operations of the company, including budgeting, financial reporting, and auditing.
2. Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in accordance with GAAP.
3. Analyzing financial data and presenting financial reports in an accurate and timely manner.
4. Implementing and ensuring compliance with financial policies and procedures.
5. Managing the company's cash flow and forecasting financial trends.
6. Collaborating with the management team to develop and implement plans for the operational infrastructure of systems, processes, and personnel.
7. Leading the development and implementation of more effective and efficient financial processes.
8. Coordinating with external auditors and managing internal controls.
9. Providing strategic guidance around capital financing options to support company growth.
10. Overseeing the company's financial systems and working with IT to implement new technologies to enhance productivity.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Permanent Controller role should possess the following qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior-level finance or accounting position, preferably in the manufacturing or related industry.
3. Proficient in financial reporting, financial analysis, and operational accounting.
4. Strong knowledge of GAAP and other accounting principles.
5. Proficient in using accounting software and experience in managing financial systems.
7. Exceptional leadership skills with desire to develop a team in the future.
8. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to present financial data to non-financial colleagues.
9. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
10. High attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
11. Demonstrated ability to think strategically and execute tactically.
