As a Superintendent, you will be a key player in our construction projects, ensuring they run smoothly from the ground up. You will manage onsite operations, coordinating various subcontractors and overseeing the entire construction process for public works projects. Responsibilities
- Oversee daily construction operations and manage onsite activities.
- Coordinate and supervise subcontractors and trades to ensure project milestones are met.
- Monitor safety practices and ensure compliance with regulations and company policies.
- Review project plans, specifications, and schedules, making adjustments as necessary.
- Communicate progress and any potential issues with project stakeholders, including clients and project managers.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality control and adherence to standards.
- Prepare daily reports and documentation related to project progress and site activities.
- Manage resources effectively, including equipment, materials, and labor.
- 4 years of experience in a Superintendent or similar role with focus on ground-up public work construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, safety regulations, and best practices.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills to effectively manage onsite teams and stakeholders.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications.
- Proficiency in construction management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
