We are seeking an experienced Commercial HVAC Service Technician to join our growing service team in the Oklahoma City area. This role is ideal for a technician who is highly skilled with large-tonnage chillers and advanced commercial HVAC systems. You’ll support a wide range of clients—including commercial buildings, industrial facilities, healthcare, and mission-critical environments—by diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining complex HVAC and mechanical equipment.

Key Responsibilities
- Service, repair, and maintain large commercial chillers (centrifugal, screw, scroll, and packaged systems).
- Diagnose and troubleshoot commercial HVAC equipment, including air handlers, rooftop units, pumps, cooling towers, boilers, VAV systems, and control interfaces.
- Perform preventive maintenance, system inspections, and operational testing to ensure peak system performance.
- Respond to emergency service calls and provide timely, accurate, and professional customer support.
- Document all service work performed, including parts used, system conditions, and recommended corrective actions.
- Communicate effectively with customers, project managers, and internal service teams.
- Follow safety procedures and adhere to all industry codes, standards, and best practices.
- Identify opportunities for system upgrades, improvements, or replacement recommendations.
Qualifications
- 5 years of commercial HVAC service experience, including hands-on work with large chillers (required).
- Strong understanding of refrigeration theory, hydronic systems, pumps, cooling towers, variable speed drives, and control sequences.
- Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, mechanical drawings, and system schematics.
- Experience working with building automation systems (BAS/BMS) a plus.
- EPA Universal Certification required.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Preferred Experience
- Factory training or certification on major chiller brands (Trane, Carrier, York, Daikin/McQuay, etc.).
- Experience in mission-critical or industrial facilities.
- Knowledge of energy-efficient HVAC technologies and retrofits.
