Responsibilities
- Provide accounting and financial consulting services to clients in the manufacturing industry.
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Cost Accounting.
- Utilize QuickBooks to maintain financial records and reports, perform account reconciliations, and conduct internal audits.
- Analyze financial data to identify our company's financial status and performance.
- Develop and implement effective financial strategies, control systems, and processes to improve operational efficiency.
- Prepare accurate and timely financial reports and statements and ensure appropriate accounting control procedures.
- Coordinate with external auditors and manage internal controls.
- Ensure compliance with the law and company’s policies.
- Assist in budget preparation and expense management activities for assigned accounts.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in Accounting, preferably within the manufacturing industry.
- Proficient in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, QuickBooks, and Cost Accounting.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, procedures, and legislation.
- Excellent analytical skills with an attention to detail.
- Strong computer skills, particularly with accounting software and MS Excel.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills.
- Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks.
- CPA or CMA certification will be considered an advantage.
