Warehouse Worker III

Job Summary:
The Warehouse Worker III performs advanced warehouse and material-handling duties, including receiving, storing, organizing, and distributing supplies and equipment. This position may assist with inventory control, shipping and receiving, and coordinating daily warehouse activities while ensuring accuracy, safety, and efficiency.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Receive, inspect, unload, and organize incoming shipments.
• Pick, pack, label, and prepare orders for delivery or distribution.
• Load and unload trucks using appropriate equipment.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and perform inventory counts.
• Store materials and supplies in designated locations.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, carts, and other warehouse equipment as authorized.
• Verify quantities, product descriptions, and shipment documentation.
• Identify damaged, missing, or incorrect items and report discrepancies.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
• Follow company policies and OSHA/safety procedures.
• Assist with scheduling and coordinating deliveries and shipments.
• May train or provide guidance to lower-level warehouse workers.
• Perform routine inspections of equipment and report maintenance or safety concerns.
• Assist supervisors with daily warehouse operations and special projects.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Previous warehouse or material-handling experience required; advanced warehouse experience preferred.
• Experience with inventory systems and shipping/receiving procedures preferred.
• Forklift certification may be required depending on job duties.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials as required.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow safety procedures.
