Our client is a rapidly growing home services company operating across multiple states, with 200 employees and expanding through acquisitions. They are looking for a detail-oriented HR Generalist to support the day-to-day people operations that keep our team running smoothly. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys creating order, and has strong experience with onboarding, payroll-related documentation, and HR systems.
This is a highly administrative and compliance-focused role that requires accuracy, organization, and confidence working with sensitive employee information.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full onboarding process for new hires, ensuring all documentation is completed accurately and on time
- Process and maintain EDD paperwork and other employment-related compliance documents
- Handle Income Withholding Orders (IWO), including wage garnishments and related payroll coordination
- Support employee record maintenance, document filing, and digital organization
- Perform high-volume data entry with a strong emphasis on accuracy
- Maintain HR files, forms, and internal documentation systems
- Partner with payroll and leadership teams to ensure smooth employee transitions and compliance
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in an HR Generalist, HR Coordinator, or HR Operations role
- Strong working knowledge of EDD paperwork and compliance documentation
- Experience handling wage garnishments and IWO processing
- Hands-on experience with ADP (required)
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
- Comfortable managing sensitive information with discretion
- Strong administrative and data entry accuracy
