Job Title: Client Service Associate (Account Operations)
Location: Hybrid, onsite 3 days/week - New York, NY – 10281
Duration: 6 Months, Potential to convert to full-time
- Role focused on transactional and administrative workload - change requests, withdrawals, do not transact status updates, and some admin work. Looking through platforms and seeing if there is additional paperwork received. Not a lot of client contact – mostly internal.
- High attention to detail (critical), organizational skills and prioritization, and making sure things don’t fall through the cracks, and communication (verbal and written) skills will be important.
- Have associates and managers (focus on client-facing and building relationships – complex workload and project-oriented), and they are introducing a senior manager role
Summary
The SMA Client Service team partners with the portfolio management team, operations, trading and distribution to provide a best-in-class service experience for all of our clients. We are looking for our next Client Service Associate to support our growing business. Successful candidates will have experience working in a collaborative work environment for a financial services/RIA/Broker Dealer firm and have a passion for delivering outstanding client service.
You will be responsible for:
- Responsible for new account set up, change requests, & processing cash raises across RIA & Client clients
- Provide operational support and data entry in order to onboard client accounts and process ongoing activity
- Work with client types including direct/retail investors, broker-dealer platforms, institutions, and advisors
- Support client communication via team email to provide white-glove service for all channels
- Review/respond to reconciliation items (delinked accounts, negative cash accounts, new accounts)
- Contact custodians for service-related matters and custodian paperwork generation
- Run client information in CRM (Salesforce)
