This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Regional Vice President Vertical and Public Sector based in Canada.

This is a senior sales leadership opportunity focused on driving growth across the Canadian public sector and strategic vertical markets.
You will lead a high-performing team selling enterprise identity security solutions in a rapidly evolving SaaS and cybersecurity environment.
The role combines direct people leadership with matrix collaboration across marketing, partnerships, enablement, and other supporting functions.
You will shape regional strategy, strengthen customer and partner relationships, and build a predictable, high-quality sales pipeline.
Success will require a balance of inspirational leadership, commercial discipline, forecasting rigor, and operational execution.
You will also help guide the transition toward cloud-based security solutions while identifying new opportunities across existing and prospective accounts.
This is an influential role for a sales executive who thrives in high-growth environments and is motivated by building sustainable regional performance.

Accountabilities
  • Regional Sales Leadership: Lead and develop a team of sales professionals responsible for selling enterprise identity security solutions directly to customers while leveraging strategic channel partners.
  • Business Strategy: Define and execute short- and long-term regional strategies, including detailed 12-month and three-year business plans with measurable milestones and actions.
  • People & Organization: Assess team capabilities, structure, processes, and operating cadence; recruit for open positions; develop talent; and establish a culture of accountability, performance, and continuous improvement.
  • Pipeline & Forecasting: Establish rigorous pipeline management and forecasting practices, continuously improving accuracy, visibility, and predictability while maintaining a pipeline target of approximately 3x quota.
  • Customer & Partner Growth: Build strong relationships with strategic customers and partners, identify white-space opportunities, develop new-logo strategies, and uncover accounts with compliance, governance, or business drivers that create demand for identity security solutions.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Work closely with marketing, partner teams, talent acquisition, regional leadership, and other supporting functions to align resources and accelerate regional results.
  • Market Development: Monitor customer needs, competitive dynamics, industry trends, and cloud transformation opportunities to strengthen positioning and identify new sources of growth.
  • Operational Excellence: Introduce the appropriate processes, cadence, structure, and performance standards needed to support sustained growth and effective execution.
  • Executive Communication: Present business plans, performance updates, forecasts, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership and regional stakeholders.
  • Enablement & Product Expertise: Build strong knowledge of the product portfolio, customer success stories, value proposition, and market differentiators while completing required leadership and sales enablement milestones.

Requirements

  • Senior Sales Leadership Experience: Proven experience leading sales organizations in high-growth SaaS, cybersecurity, identity, or enterprise technology environments, ideally with responsibility for a strategic public sector or vertical-market business.
  • People Management: Demonstrated ability to recruit, retain, coach, and develop high-performing sales teams while creating clear accountability and a strong performance culture.
  • Commercial Track Record: Strong history of delivering revenue growth, improving sales execution, managing complex pipelines, and consistently achieving or exceeding targets.
  • SaaS Expertise: Experience with recurring-revenue business models and enterprise SaaS sales; experience leading organizations through a transition from on-premises technology to SaaS is highly valuable.
  • Public Sector Knowledge: Understanding of Canadian public sector sales environments, procurement dynamics, compliance requirements, and complex enterprise buying processes is an advantage.
  • Channel & Partner Management: Experience working with influential channel partners and building collaborative go-to-market strategies.
  • Strategic & Analytical Thinking: Ability to translate market intelligence, customer insights, pipeline data, and business performance into actionable strategies and measurable plans.
  • Forecasting Discipline: Strong understanding of pipeline management, sales forecasting, territory planning, performance metrics, and sales operating cadence.
  • Executive Presence: Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to influence executives and cross-functional leaders.
  • Leadership Style: Inspirational, entrepreneurial, hands-on, and comfortable bringing structure and rigor to a high-growth organization.
  • Adaptability: Ability to operate effectively in a changing technology market and lead teams through organizational, product, and go-to-market evolution.
