Requirements
As a Dispatch Coordinator you will need to have:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent; logistics certifications are a plus.
- Proven experience in dispatching, logistics, or customer service.
- Proficiency in dispatch software (e.g., AS400, GPS systems) and Microsoft Office.
- Exceptional communication, multitasking, and organizational skills
As a Dispatch Coordinator, it would be desirable to have:
- Has experience as a dispatch coordinator 1-2 years
Role of a Dispatch Coordinator
- Coordinate and schedule the daily activities of drivers and delivery personnel.
- Monitor driver progress and communicate any delays or issues.
- Maintain accurate records of dispatched calls, routes, and driver activity.
- Liaise with customers to provide updates and resolve any service-related concerns.
