JMT Staffing is partnering with a well-established manufacturing company to hire a Manufacturing Supervisor II. This is a hands-on leadership role in a fast-paced production environment, ideal for someone who thrives on problem-solving, team leadership, and driving operational efficiency.
Position Overview
The Manufacturing Supervisor II will lead daily production activities while ensuring safety, quality, and productivity goals are met. This role requires a strong floor presence, the ability to troubleshoot equipment, and effective communication with a diverse workforce.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead daily shift huddles and oversee production floor operations
- Ensure efficient use of labor, equipment, and materials
- Monitor workflow, job sequencing, and production timelines
- Troubleshoot equipment and resolve production issues as they arise
- Drive corrective actions related to quality and performance issues
- Maintain high standards for safety, quality, and productivity
- Train, coach, and provide feedback to team members
- Track and report production metrics and performance data
- Coordinate with maintenance and other departments to resolve issues
- Assist with scheduling, staffing adjustments, and payroll support
Qualifications
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) required
- 3–5 years of manufacturing experience, with supervisory or team lead experience preferred
- Strong mechanical aptitude with ability to troubleshoot equipment
- Experience in a fast-paced production or assembly environment
- Familiarity with ERP systems and Microsoft Office
- Lean Manufacturing / Continuous Improvement experience is a plus
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
