JMT Staffing Solutions is hiring an AR/AP Accounting Associate for our client, an established company with an in-office accounting team. This is a full-time, permanent, hourly role supporting the accounting team with day-to-day accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bookkeeping work.
Location: Wilmington, MA (on-site)
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
What You'll Do
- Process daily wire transfers and credit card sales
- Maintain customer consolidated statements
- Research and resolve transaction issues and discrepancies
- Respond promptly to questions from vendors, customers, and employees
- Assist with year-end audits
- Handle general accounting office tasks, including filing, answering phones, and preparing financial documents
- Take on other duties as assigned
What You Bring
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration preferred)
- 2 years of experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, or a similar accounting role
- Working knowledge of basic accounting principles
- Comfort with accounting and database software and the Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel and Word
- Strong attention to detail, with the ability to stay accurate and meet deadlines
- A problem-solver who can handle unexpected issues
- Clear written and verbal communication skills, and a professional, team-oriented attitude
- Ability to work on-site at the assigned office on scheduled in-office days
Nice to Have
- Experience with Billtrust and Oracle AP

Physical Requirements
