Duties
- Perform masonry restoration tasks including cleaning, repointing, and repairing brick, stone, and stucco with precision and care.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools to execute detailed masonry work, ensuring structural integrity and visual excellence.
- Apply finishing techniques such as concrete finishing, plastering, caulking, tile laying, and trim carpentry to achieve seamless results.
- Operate equipment safely for tasks like lifting heavy materials or preparing sites for restoration work.
- Collaborate with team members on renovation projects involving metal stud framing, roofing, stucco application, and other related trades to ensure cohesive project execution.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction site work with a focus on masonry or restoration projects a plus.
- Strong knowledge of masonry techniques including bricklaying, stonework, stucco application, and concrete finishing.
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment operation, and relevant construction machinery.
- Familiarity with construction estimating processes and schematics interpretation is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail; committed to safety standards on construction sites.
