Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated CNC Operator/Programmer to join our dynamic manufacturing team. Duties
- Program, set up, and operate CNC machines including CNC 3-Axis machines, CNC lathes, and CNC 4,5-Axis routers using CAD/CAM software such as SolidWorks Alphacam and other programming tools.
- Read and interpret detailed blueprints, technical drawings, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), and specifications to ensure precise manufacturing.
- Adjust machine parameters and tooling to optimize performance and maintain tight tolerances for high-quality production.
- Conduct routine inspections using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and other mechanical gauges to verify part dimensions.
- Perform routine maintenance on CNC equipment and troubleshoot issues related to Fanuc controls, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), or tooling malfunctions.
- Handle materials safely using, hand tools, and materials handling equipment within the manufacturing facility.
- Collaborate with team members on assembly line tasks, fabrication processes, and quality control procedures to meet production goals efficiently.
Experience
- Proven experience operating CNC machinery such as CNC 3-Axis machines, CNC lathes, CNC 5-Axis Routers
- Strong knowledge of CNC programming languages (Fanuc preferred) and (Alpacam Cam) programming for efficient toolpath creation.
- Familiarity with blueprint reading, GD&T standards, CAD software like SolidWorks or similar design tools Rhino 8.
- Mechanical aptitude with understanding of tooling setup, materials handling and fabrication techniques.
- Experience working with precision measuring instruments including calipers and micrometers for quality assurance.
- Factory or manufacturing facility experience demonstrating adherence to safety protocols and quality standards.
- Ability to perform basic math calculations necessary for machining operations and quality checks.
