An established global manufacturer is seeking a Category Manager in Carol Stream, Illinois to develop and execute category strategies, strengthen supplier performance, negotiate strategic agreements, and drive supply continuity and cost optimization initiatives.
Candidates Must Have:
- Must have experience sourcing electronic components.
- 10 years of category management and strategic procurement experience across direct and indirect spend.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, Business Management, or a related field.
- Proven leadership with strong analytical, communication, and project management skills.
- Experience leading complex sourcing initiatives and influencing cross-functional teams to drive business results.
- Strong knowledge of procurement best practices, strategic sourcing, and supplier management.
- Experience applying Lean manufacturing principles to optimize supply chain performance.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; Microsoft Project experience preferred.
Salary : $120,000 - $140,000
