What are the responsibilities and job description for the Business Development Manager - Aluminum Mills position at JMI Recruiting Services, LLC?
We are currently assisting our client, an industrial manufacturer, with a Business Development Manager search.
This is a remote position, but it will require travel within the southeast and midwest united states.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and expand the aluminum manufacturing customer base across the Southeast and Midwest regions of the United States.
- Cultivate strong, dependable relationships with high-volume aluminum manufacturing clients.
- Serve as the primary point of contact, ensuring that client needs are addressed efficiently and effectively.
- Proactively pursue opportunities for retrofit, modernization, maintenance, and repair of manufacturing equipment.
- Emphasize relationship-building over transactional sales fostering loyalty and encouraging ongoing collaboration.
Requirements:
- Exhibit a strong technical sales background with experience in selling to aluminum mills or related industries.
- Demonstrate mechanical proficiency and competence in relevant technical areas.
- Possess experience in developing and managing a comprehensive sales process from lead generation to closing, with a strong emphasis on maintaining customer relationships.
