About the role
Support manufacturing engineering activities for defense and aerospace electronic assembly programs.
This role focuses on process development, PFMEA, work instructions, and MES routing creation to improve production efficiency and quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain manufacturing processes, work instructions, and procedures
- Create and manage MES / routing records (FactoryLogix preferred)
- Support electronic assembly manufacturing and production optimization
- Lead Lean Manufacturing / Six Sigma continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure compliance with AS9100, ITAR, NADCAP, and industry standards
- Maintain process documentation, ECOs, and production metrics
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering
- Experience in manufacturing engineering, preferably in defense or aerospace
- Hands-on experience with PFMEA, work instructions, and MES systems
- Experience with electronic assembly manufacturing processes
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing / Six Sigma methodologies
- Familiarity with AS9100, ITAR, NADCAP standards
Compensation (MA Pay Transparency):
- Estimated hourly range: $50–$55/hr (W-2).
- Final rate within this range will be based on skills, experience, and interview results.
