About the Role
We are supporting a manufacturing organization seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to lead process development and production optimization for Nitinol tube and wire manufacturing.
This role will focus on improving manufacturing efficiency, supporting new production setup, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in manufacturing engineering, process validation, and statistical analysis within regulated environments.
Key Responsibilities
Process Development & Manufacturing Setup
- Introduce and establish manufacturing capacity for Nitinol tube and wire production
- Develop and improve process procedures, yields, and controls
- Support machine validation and production readiness activities
Process Improvement & Troubleshooting
- Troubleshoot manufacturing issues and implement corrective and preventive actions
- Apply Lean principles and continuous improvement methodologies
- Utilize statistical tools such as DOE, SPC, and capability studies
Documentation & Compliance
- Create and maintain work instructions, routers, prints, and engineering documentation
- Develop Flow Charts, PFMEAs, and Control Plans
- Ensure compliance with manufacturing and quality standards
Training & Collaboration
- Provide operator training and job setup support
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, production, and quality teams
- Act as a liaison for internal stakeholders and customers when required
Reporting & Metrics
- Track and report performance metrics on a weekly and monthly basis
- Drive data-based decision-making for process improvements
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field
- Minimum 6 years of manufacturing engineering experience
- Strong experience in process development and manufacturing optimization
- Experience with PFMEA, Control Plans, and process validation
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement practices
- Experience with statistical tools (DOE, SPC, capability studies)
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
