About the role
We are looking for a Manufacturing Engineer with hands-on experience in Nitinol tube and wire production to lead process development, capacity expansion, and manufacturing optimization. This role focuses on improving process capability, supporting validation activities, and driving continuous improvement within a regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Introduce and set up manufacturing capacity for Nitinol tube/wire production
• Review, develop, and improve process procedures, yields, and controls
• Troubleshoot manufacturing issues and implement corrective and preventive actions
• Create and maintain work instructions, routers, prints, and engineering documentation
• Support machine validation and production readiness (Flow Charts, PFMEA, Control Plans)
• Apply statistical methods such as DOE, SPC, and capability studies
• Drive Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives
• Provide operator training and job setup support
• Collaborate cross-functionally and act as a customer liaison when needed
• Report performance metrics on a weekly/monthly basis
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or related Engineering field
• Experience with Nitinol (tube/wire) manufacturing preferred
• Strong knowledge of PFMEA, Control Plans, and validation activities
• Experience with DOE, SPC, and statistical analysis
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills
