About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Hardware Test Engineer to support validation and debug activities for Intel-based server motherboard platforms. This role will work closely with design, BIOS, firmware, and manufacturing teams to drive product quality, resolve complex hardware issues, and improve test efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform advanced hardware validation, system-level debug, and root-cause analysis on Intel server motherboards.
- Develop, maintain, and execute comprehensive test plans, validation procedures, and test scripts.
- Collaborate with BIOS, firmware, design, and manufacturing teams to resolve product issues and improve first-pass yields.
- Utilize JTAG, ITP, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and other debug tools to diagnose hardware failures.
- Identify opportunities for test automation, workflow optimization, and process improvements.
- Support manufacturing test activities and contribute to overall product quality and reliability.
Qualifications
- BS/MS degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 5 years of experience in hardware validation, system-level debug, or hardware test engineering.
- Strong knowledge of Intel architecture, server platforms, and motherboard-level troubleshooting.
- Hands-on experience with JTAG, ITP, logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, and hardware debug tools.
- Experience creating and executing structured validation plans and test methodologies.
- Knowledge of Python, Perl, or other scripting languages for test automation is preferred.
Compensation
- Estimated hourly range: $44–$46/hr (W-2).
- Final rate within this range will be based on skills, experience, and interview results.
Salary : $44 - $46
