We are looking for a Front Desk Receptionist to join our team!

The Front Desk Receptionist is the first point of contact for patients and visitors, playing a key role in creating a welcoming and professional environment. This role ensures smooth front-office operations by handling patient intake, scheduling, insurance verification, payments, and general administrative support—all while delivering exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet patients and visitors, answer inquiries, and provide directions.
- Register patients, verify insurance, and process billing fees and payments.
- Manage daily patient reminder calls and appointment scheduling via EHR system.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client files, charts, and records.
- Provide administrative support such as typing, filing, and handling mail/fax services.
- Assist with maintaining a clean, professional lobby and office environment.
- Perform opening and closing duties as needed.
- Collaborate with staff and billing teams on patient account matters.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred.
- 1 year of administrative assistant or related front office experience.
- Health center or medical office experience required.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, billing, and insurance processes.
- Strong administrative and organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills—both written and verbal.
- Customer service experience with the ability to remain calm in stressful situations.
- CPR or CPR/AED certification required (or ability to obtain).
- Team-oriented and service-driven, with sensitivity to diverse populations.
- Fluency in additional languages preferred.
