What are the responsibilities and job description for the Facilities Maintenance Technician position at JMAX Properties LLC?

Responsibilities:
- Performs general facility repairs, maintenance, and installations which may include but not be limited to electrical, plumbing / pipe fitting, welding, sheet metal, carpentry, painting or mechanical.
- Troubleshoots and resolves issues with plumbing, mechanical and electrical systems.
- Builds power cords for equipment; air hoses, etc.
- Resets and troubleshoots circuit breaker failures.
- Repairs equipment such as pallet jacks, ladders and benches.
- Repairs and adds air lines to work areas.
- Deploys changes and/or removes employee or workstation telephones/extensions.
- Changes and/or updates the company's security equipment.
- Sets up cubicles, pallet racking, special meeting areas per specifications/work order requests.
- Conducts preventive maintenance inspections and performs required preventive maintenance actions such as lubrication, cleaning, filter changes etc.
Qualifications:
- High school graduate with five years directly related experience or three years with Journey level license or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms.
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Knowledge of hand and power tools.
- Must be able to climb ladders.
- Must be able to work from blueprints, schematic sketches, and/or oral/written instructions.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30.00 - $32.00 per hour
