What your day-to-day will look like:

What your day-to-day will look like:
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair facility equipment across all building systems while ensuring work is completed with minimal client disruption and thorough cleanup
- Perform comprehensive maintenance, monitoring, and repairs to mechanical, plumbing, structural, furniture, fire, life safety, and control systems to maintain applicable standards
- Execute preventative maintenance programs including cleaning, inspecting, calibrating, and replacing parts to optimize HVAC systems and associated equipment performance
- Maintain responsibility for facility services, purchasing and inventory control, contracted maintenance coordination, and technical proficiency standards
- Record equipment readings and make necessary adjustments while ensuring adequate operating inventory of tools and supplies for facility maintenance
- Review monthly client service request summaries to identify and correct recurring operational problems through systematic analysis
- Evaluate vendors and suppliers regularly for quality and competitive pricing while preparing purchase order requests and verifying delivery accuracy
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent with completion of vocational/trade program preferred
- 2 years of similar working experience in facility operations or building maintenance
- Operating Engineers license (SMA) or equivalent certification
- Universal Technician certification for CFCs or ability to obtain within 90 days of employment
- Ability to analyze various system operations, determine causes of problems/malfunctions, and implement corrective actions
- Working knowledge of computer applications including Microsoft Word and Excel
- Strong communication skills and availability for call-in work assignments
- Advanced certifications in electrical, HVAC, plumbing, or central utility plant operations
- Experience with building automation systems and computerized maintenance management systems
- Background in vendor management and contract oversight for maintenance services
- Knowledge of hazardous materials handling, storage, and disposal regulations
- Experience with event setup/teardown activities including electrical and audio visual coordination
