What your day-to-day will look like:
- Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and respond to repair work orders on facility mechanical, electrical, and other installed systems
- Maintain, operate, and repair all HVAC systems, electrical distribution equipment, plumbing systems, and building interior/exterior components
- Conduct assigned facility inspections and due diligence efforts, reporting conditions that impact client occupancy and operations
- Respond effectively to all facility emergencies and after-hours building activities as required
- Prepare and submit management summary reports detailing work conditions and recommend corrective actions
- Study and maintain proficiency with building automation systems, fire/life safety systems, and other building-related equipment
- Comply with all safety procedures while maintaining clean and safe work areas, identifying and proposing solutions for safety hazards
- Universal EPA 608 Certification
- Minimum four (4) years of technical experience in building engineering with strong background in packaged HVAC, plumbing, and electrical equipment repair and maintenance
- Valid state driver's license with ability to maintain throughout employment
- Physical ability to lift up to 80 lbs. and climb ladders up to 30 ft.
- Availability to perform on-call duties and overtime as required
- Knowledge of overall MEP/HVAC system design and application
- Experience managing work orders utilizing CMMS technology
- Experience working in service-related roles specific to commercial facilities
- Attendance at periodic training seminars and professional development opportunities
