Shift:

What your day-to-day will look like:
- Monitor and operate building automation systems (BAS) to maintain optimal temperature, humidity, and air quality throughout the facility
- Conduct routine inspections of HVAC equipment, boilers, chillers, and mechanical systems to ensure proper operation and identify potential issues
- Perform preventative maintenance tasks including filter changes, belt adjustments, lubrication, and minor repairs on building equipment
- Respond to tenant service requests and building alarms while troubleshooting system malfunctions and implementing corrective actions
- Document equipment readings, maintenance activities, and system performance data in computerized maintenance management systems
- Coordinate with contractors and vendors for specialized repairs while ensuring work quality and safety compliance
- Maintain building security protocols including monitoring access control systems and conducting facility rounds as assigned
- High School diploma or equivalent with technical training in building operations, HVAC, or related mechanical systems
- 2-3 years of experience in building operations, facilities maintenance, or similar technical environment
- Basic understanding of HVAC systems, electrical components, plumbing systems, and building automation controls
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and system schematics
- Strong problem-solving skills with ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues
- Physical capability to work in various environments including mechanical rooms, rooftops, and confined spaces
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts, weekends, and respond to emergency calls as needed
- EPA Universal certification for refrigerant handling or ability to obtain within 90 days
- Experience with building automation systems such as Johnson Controls, Honeywell, or Siemens platforms
- Basic electrical knowledge and understanding of motor controls and power distribution systems
- OSHA 10-Hour safety certification or equivalent safety training
- Experience working in commercial office buildings, healthcare facilities, or institutional environments
Salary : $89,606 - $96,000
