Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
Electrical Systems & Equipment
- Install, repair, maintain, and upgrade electrical equipment including single and three-phase motor wiring
- Run conduit and pull wiring to machinery and operating components
- Check, repair, and replace valves, motors, controls, switches, gauges, wiring, and system components
- Troubleshoot electrical systems to identify repair and replacement needs
- Maintain fans, pumps, compressors, condensers, and other functional system components
- Install and rebuild pumps, motors, air compressors, and heat exchangers
- Replace bearings, seals, and associated mechanical components
- Assist with installation and repair of piping/tubing and hot water systems
- Support other mechanics with major building repairs and complex assignments
- Provide backup support to other skilled trades as required
- Maintain comprehensive service repair work order records using CMMS system
- Respond to routine and emergency repair calls promptly and professionally
- Research and inventory equipment parts and supplies
- Comply with all company safety and risk management policies
- Participate in safety meetings and training while applying OSHA requirements
- Potentially train and lead other team members in facilities maintenance
- Demonstrate superior customer service skills in all interactions
- Maintain professionalism under stressful situations and tight deadlines
- Work collaboratively with other trades and departments
- Provide technical expertise and guidance on electrical projects
Education & Licensing
- High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
- Journeyman Electrical License (Required)
- Valid state driver's license in good standing
- Minimum 2 years trade experience in electrical maintenance
- Expertise in electrical systems installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting
- Knowledge of single and three-phase electrical systems
- Experience with motor controls, switches, and electrical components
- Ability to run conduit and pull wiring in industrial environments
- Understanding of electrical safety codes and OSHA requirements
- Superior customer service skills and professional orientation
- Ability to maintain professionalism under stressful situations
- Strong multi-tasking abilities and the ability to work without direct supervision
- Strong organizational skills with collaborative work style
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities
- Physical ability to perform bending, standing, climbing, and walking
- Safe operation of manual tools and power equipment
- Low voltage systems experience
- CMMS and/or database experience for work order management
- Knowledge of standard practices in HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and mechanical systems
- Experience reading and comprehending electrical plans and blueprints
- Familiarity with applicable electrical codes and safety precautions
- Understanding of electronic and mechanical equipment requirements
- Availability for call-in work and emergency response
- Flexibility to perform additional duties and cross-training opportunities
- Leadership experience or willingness to mentor other team members
- Manufacturing or industrial facility experience
- Additional trade certifications or technical education
- Ability to perform physical activities including bending, standing, climbing, and extended walking
- Work in manufacturing environment with potential exposure to industrial equipment and processes
- 3rd shift schedule with potential for overtime and emergency call-ins
- Safe operation of ladders, power tools, and electrical testing equipment
