We are expanding our team to support major upcoming contracts and are looking for a reliable, professional technician who wants a stable, long-term home.
The Role As a Commercial HVACR Service Technician, you will be dispatched directly from your home to diagnose, repair, and maintain light commercial refrigeration equipment across the Bay Area. You will be trusted to manage your day and solve problems without someone looking over your shoulder.
What You Will Do:
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, service, and maintain light commercial refrigeration systems, including walk-in coolers, reach-in freezers, and ice machines.
- Perform occasional equipment installations, system retrofits, and preventative maintenance.
- Manage your daily route efficiently across our primary service areas.
- Interact professionally with diverse clients, acting as the face of East Bay Refrigeration.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked take-home company service van.
What We Are Looking For:
- Experience: 2 years of proven, hands-on experience servicing commercial refrigeration systems and troubleshooting ice machines independently.
- Technical Aptitude: You must have a rock-solid foundation in refrigeration fundamentals and the ability to diagnose and repair equipment without direct supervision.
- Certifications: Standard EPA Universal is required.
- Clearances: A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Attitude: Professionalism, reliability, and a positive, team-oriented mindset are mandatory. We want problem-solvers, not idlers.
