What You’ll Do Every Day:
As part of our service team, you’ll play a key role in keeping our customers safe, happy, and on the road.
- Perform high-quality maintenance and repairs in accordance with dealership and manufacturer standards
- Diagnose and repair automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and A/C
- Complete routine services such as oil changes, tire rotations, filter replacements, and inspections
- Conduct safety and emissions inspections
- Use advanced diagnostic tools and equipment (scanners, multimeters, hydraulic lifts, etc.)
- Accurately document all work performed on repair orders using dealership software
- Inspect fluid levels, tire pressure, and overall vehicle condition; repair or replenish as needed
- Communicate clearly with service advisors regarding diagnostics, repair status, and recommendations
- Provide labor and time estimates for additional repairs
- Explain vehicle conditions and repair needs in a clear, non-technical manner
- Coordinate with the parts department to obtain required components
- Inspect and test new vehicles, documenting findings for any required repairs
- Report equipment or machinery issues to management
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop environment
- Stay current with evolving automotive technology through ongoing training
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience as a seasoned Automotive Technician
- 2 years of hands-on automotive technician experience (certifications a plus!)
- Kia certified is a huge plus
- Experience with used vehicles; Kia or other OEM certifications are a huge bonus
- ASE Certification preferred
- Strong diagnostic and repair skills
- Team player with a customer-first mindset
- Valid driver’s license and your own tools
- Ability to work efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
- Commitment to safety, quality, and customer satisfaction
- Team-focused attitude with excellent communication skills
